House rules

  • Always bring the dog on a leash
     

  • Let the dog out for a walk before the grooming
     

  • A large meal before the grooming is not a good idea, but let the dogs eat something small beforehand. Grooming sometimes also requires some energy
     from the dog.

  •  Bring the dogs free from fleas.
     

  • Attending the grooming session is not permitted.
     

  • Please arrive promptly at the time of your appointment. 

     

  • Appointments that are not canceled or canceled late (less than 24 hours before the appointment) will be charged for 50%.

Definitions

  • the service: order agreed between Sam's Trimhouse and the customer
  • animal to be treated: the animal on which the service will be performed
  • the customer: the other party of Sam's Trimhouse and the owner of the animal to be treated

Application

The general terms and conditions apply to all offers and every agreement between the customer and Sam's Trimhouse.

As soon as an appointment is made at Sam's Trimhouse, the customer automatically agrees to the terms and conditions that apply to all services that are provided.

Altering and canceling the appointment

In the event that for any reason an appointment cannot go ahead as planned, it must be rescheduled or canceled at least 24 hours in advance. If this is not done or is done late, with the result that the appointment cannot take place at the planned time, it will be charged for 50% of the foreseen rate.

The Appointment

  • The animal to be treated is delivered to Sam's Trimhouse on a correct leash. (With a leash from which it cannot escape)
  • Sam's Trimhouse reserves the right to refuse the service if the animal to be treated is infected with fleas or other parasites.
  • Sam's Trimhouse reserves the right to refuse the service if they believe that the animal to be treated has physical complaints (injuries, illness, disabilities) that prevent the grooming or pose a risk to the well-being of the dog.
  • The customer will not be permitted to remain at the service unless permission is given by Sam's Trimhouse.

Delivery of the service

  • Services are only provided by appointment
  • Before the start of the service, the customer must inform Sam's Trimhouse of all relevant information that is relevant to the smooth running of the service and/or the health of the animal to be treated.
  • The delivery of services (with the exception of the pick-up service) takes place at the location of Sam's Trimhouse.
  • The customer must bring the animal to be treated to the salon at the agreed time. If the customer is late, as a result of which the trimmer is no longer able to perform the service within the foreseen time, the same conditions will be applied as for not canceling on time (see section changing and canceling).
  • Sam's Trimhouse reserves the right to refuse the service at any time.
  • If the customer expects services that do not correspond to the correct treatment for the animal to be treated, Sam's Trimhouse reserves the right to refuse the service.

Pick-up service

 

  • Pick-up appointments cannot be booked online.
  • The service must be requested when making the appointment.
  • The dogs must be properly leashed (a leash from which they cannot escape).
  • If no one is present at the pick-up address at the time of pick-up and the appointment cannot take place, the appointment will be charged for 50% of the planned price.
  • If no one is present at the pick-up address at the time of return, a retribution of €25.00 will be charged.
  • The dogs are transported and can temporarily wait in a bench. Dogs that experience a bench as very stressful should not use the pick-up service.

Rates and Payments

  • Rates indicated before the start of the service are always target prices unless expressly indicated otherwise. Sam's Trimhouse reserves the right to change the final price in the event of unforeseen extra services according to what is reasonable for the service.
  • If negligent maintenance or parasites are detected during the treatment, an additional cost will be charged.
  • The customer's debt must be paid upon collection of the treated animal at the location of Sam's Trimhouse.

Liability

  • Sam's Trimhouse is not responsible for damages resulting from the agreed service, unless this damage was caused intentionally or with gross negligence.
  • Sam's Trimhouse is not responsible for damages resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided by the customer.
  • All liability is at all times limited to reimbursement of the costs charged by a veterinarian. In the event of irreparable damage, Sam's Trimhouse is at most liable for the market value of the treated animal, subject to mandatory legal provisions.
  • Sam's trimhouse is not responsible for theft that occurs at the salon location.

Complaints

  • Complaints must be brought to the attention of the manager of Sam's Trimhouse in writing and clearly described within 48 hours after delivery of the service.
  • In case of complaints, Sam's Trimhouse is never obliged to refund money.
  • Sam's Trimhouse will offer a suitable solution in case of complaints.
